How We Can Help

Here are some examples of services we can help you find. If you don’t see something in this list, remember that we’re just a phone call or appointment away.

  • Domestic Violence Program: You don’t have to suffer alone. Help is available, and you can receive the necessary resources to live a safe and healthy life.
  • Mental Health Services: Mental health is just as important as physical health. If you are struggling, know that there is hope.
  • Prenatal Care: We provide prenatal care referrals to the 2 OB/GYNs in the county.
  • Lactation Consultants: These professionals are often essential to helping you accomplish your breastfeeding goals. We’ll help you find the support you need.
  • Nutritional Information: A healthy life often begins with good dietary choices and eating habits. Proper nutrition helps you and your family thrive.
  • Social Services: Our community thrives when its residents are cared for. We’ll connect you to social services in our area.
  • Housing Needs: Life can feel infinitely more challenging when facing homelessness. If you’re eligible, there are organizations that can help.
  • Community Thrift Stores: Find the clothing and other material items you need, regardless of whether you’re pregnant or parenting.
  • Welcome Baby Program: Receive some of the essentials to care for a newborn.

There’s no shame in asking us about additional resources. We’re committed to meeting your unique needs.

After-Abortion Care

After an abortion, every woman feels differently. Some feel relief, while others may experience sadness or anxiety.

Your feelings are valid. And if you’re struggling after an abortion, even if it was years ago, you deserve healing.

Amador Pregnancy & Family Resource Center can refer you to a sister center to provide a no-cost, confidential program called “Forgiven and Set Free.” A volunteer facilitates this program in individual and group settings.

The road to healing can be difficult, but it is possible with the proper community assistance and support. We can help.
